Salary
Pay Scale Rs. 12000-52000/- and Grade Pay Rs. 3900/- (Grade Pay Rs. 4400/- for the Post of Attendant)
Educational Qualification
Minimum Class VIII passed from a recognized School or Institution and maximum qualification will be HSSLC or Class XII passed from recognized Board of Council.
And
Technical (Electrician, Plumber, Carpenter, Mason and Tailor) : Minimum two year certificate course in relevant Trade from a recognized Industrial Training Institution / Vocational Institute.
Non-Technical (Cook, Water Carrier, Dhobi, Barber, Gardener, Painter, Safai Karmachari and Cobbler) : Training Certificate in relevant Trade issued by Sector Skill Council (SSC).
Candidates must speak Assamese or any other State language fluently.

Age Limit
As on 01.07.2022, The Age Limit is as following.
- Assam Commando Battalions Grade-IV : 18 to 25 Years
- Assam Police, DGCD & CHGH AND F & ES : 18 to 40 Years
Upper age relaxation to the Candidates of SC, ST (P), ST (H) and OBC/ MOBC Categories will be given as per the instructions issued by Government.
Selection Process
Merit List for Selection will be prepared on the basis of following stage of recruitment.
- Preliminary Verification of Document
- Physical Standard Test (PST) and Preliminary Medical Checkup
- Trade Efficiency Test
- Final Merit List
