- Assistant Director of Agriculture : Rs. 56100-205700/- (Pay Level- 22)
- Agriculture Officer and Horticulture Officer : Rs. 37700-138500/- (Pay Level-20)
Educational Qualification
Agricultural Officer: Bachelor degree in Agriculture (B.Sc Agriculture) and adequate knowledge in Tamil.
Assistant Director of Agriculture: A degree of M.Sc., in Agricultural Extension or Agricultural Economics.
Horticultural Officer: Degree in B.Sc. Horticulture.

Age Limit
As on 1st July 2023, The Age limit is as following.
- For persons holding a bachelor degree : Not more than 32 years
- For persons holding a post graduate degree : Not exceeding 34 year
Relaxation of upper age limit to the Candidates of SC, ST, MBC, BC, BCM Categories will be given as per the instructions issued by Government.
